SLOW
SPEED ENGINES LISTER TYPE
These
slow speed vertical, 4 stroke diesels are rated for continuos
running. These engines have run on all kinds of diesel, bio diesel, and
vegetable diesel of 18,000 BTHU / lb. All castings and pistons are made
of a close grain cast Iron. We fit ours with tapered roller bearing mains
these also use the Bosch micro fuel injection. They are solid, rugged
time tested engines, that seem to run and run..

VIDHATA Diesel Generators
A,C.GENERATORS: Specially designed,self-excited
and self-regulated in screen protected drip-proof enclosure, available in
Single Phase (230V/50HZ) and Three Phase (415V/50HZ) at 1500RPM,
Manufactured as per IS:4722 under strict quality control,Specially
designed heavy-duty with low temprature rise
,special carbon bushes,betterair circulation and
greater efficiency with +-5% Voltage regulation.
ARMATURE: Core of high quality silicon Steel Stampings
for minimum energy losses.Core is rigidly keyed
to a sturdy shaft and clamped with heavy end-rings.
WINDING AND INSULATION: Both D.C.and
A.C. Windinngs are made of highly conductive
super- synthetics enamelled copper wire manufacturedd by top leading Companies in India.With highly varnished and dried field coils and
armature windings is of class E insulation.
VARNISHING AND BAKING: All windings are properly
varnished in vaccume impregnation machine,backed for suitable
time and at fixed temprature in special designed
Oven.
DYNAMIC BALANCING: After all fittings Roter is dynamically balanced in a semi computerised dynamic balancing machine
COOLING Air Cooled :- Air cooled are of two types.
Fan Type :- The fan is mounted
on the flywheel side. Air circulates through cowling towards the cylinder
and cylinder head.
Blower Type :- A blower mounted
towards the gear cover is driven by V-belt and powered by the CAM Gear
for forced cooling of the cylinder
block and head.
Water Cooled :-Radiator Type

Starting Systems
Manual Start :- Handle is used
to crank the engine.
Electric Start :- 12 Volt Battery operated
starting system.
AMF :-
Auto Mains Failure. The Genset starts
within 7 - 10 seconds on the mains failure and Genset stops automatically within 7
seconds of the resumption of main power.

TYPE: Cold Starting,Single/Double
Cylinder,vertical.Air & water cooled,totally enclosed,compression
ignition,four stroke engine.
ROTATION: he
standard rotation is clockwise facing the fly wheel.
COMBUSTION: Open type
combustion chamber in an aluminum alloy piston.
BEARINGS: Main bearings are taper roller of finest quality,Large end bearing are of bimetal
alloy lined steel backed shell.Bushes for valve rocker and small end of
connecting rod are of phosphorus
bronze.
GEARS & DRIVE: Standard Engine is fitted with best
quality cast iron timings gears.Power take
off is possible only from fly wheel end.Special
engine is fitted with steel timing gear providing additional power take off
from gear end at half or full speed of the engine.
FUEL SYSTEM: Fuel is supplied to the fuel pump by
gravity feed through a ceramic filter infuel tank
and a fabric filter.A filter is also provided at
the inlet of nozzle holder.
LUBRICATING SYSTEM: Force feed by plunger type oil pump
to large end bearing.Other working parts are
splash lubricated.Filter is provided for cleaning
the engine oil.
GOVERNING: Fixed speed centrifugal governor is mounted
on the cam shaft gear wheel.Speed variation is
control within limits.
BALANCING: Engine is efficiently balanced with two
balance weights bolted on crank shaft.Fly wheel
is balance to give smooth operation to ensures long life of moving parts.
EXHAUST SYSTEM: A pepper pot
type silencer gives adequate silencing.
AIR CLEANER: Oil washed type or FRITZ paper felt air
cleaner is fitted for efficient cleaning.
STARTING: The engine is
designed for starting by hand.
CYLINDER HEAD: Cast Iron,detachable type,to
provide adequate cooling of parts. Water cooled is available in both front
radiator and middle radiator type. Air cooled is available in ordinary fan
type or blower type arrangement.
